How do I get an API key?

API tokens are created from your team settings. Open the user menu in the top right, go to Team Settings, scroll down to the API Tokens section, give your token a descriptive name, and click Create Token.

We'll show the token to you once. Copy it immediately and store it somewhere safe — we don't keep the plaintext value, so you won't be able to see it again. If you lose a token you can always create a new one and revoke the old.

API access is currently only available on the Advanced plan. The Create Token button is disabled if your current plan doesn't include API access.

Each token can act on behalf of the user who created it across both the Link Management API and the Link Analytics API. Authenticated requests are rate-limited to 30 per minute and 300 per hour, per team.
